Hello jillians. to try and resolve this issue, please unplug the power from the unit for about 25-30 minutes. once this time frame has passed, plug the unit in directly to a wall outlet to see if the printer will power on..
My pixma ip3500 printer just flashes the yellow light. l've diconnected the printer and unpluged it and the msg usboo1 comes on. the manual just commends turning it off and on. submitted: 6 years ago.. Thanks for the advice, however, none of the proposed solutions worked - in the end, a canon rep indicated that the printer was more or less "kaput" - and that repairs would be more costly than purchasing a new printer - which i did, a canon ip4920 - which is excellent and additionally, i was able to get a discount - total including taxes less than $100.00 canadian..
